Volunteer in Kenya - Funding for trip costs

Hello, my name is Carly and I am 16 years old looking for donations to aid myself in taking a trip departing in late June 2025 with my school to volunteer as a teacher within a kenyan school for 4-16 year olds. The funds raised will go towards helping cover my costs to travel to Kenya to share my skills and aid these children in learning basic primary education. Additionally i will be taking materials with me such as pens, paper, activity books and school equipment so these children not only gain my knowledge but the necessities they'll need in order to further their education. This is very important to me as i believe every child deserves to have an adequate learning environment as a basic human right. A good education is the foundations to development in low income countries as well as ensuring each and every child has a good start to life. Therefore any donations would be highly appreciated regardless of how big or small. Thank you.

My first sponsored event will be a 6-mile walk, going 3 times up and down The Wrekin, which is one of Shropshire's highest peaks (1,334 ft). I will complete this walk on the 8th of June 2024.
