Residents for 50 Tons is a group of Georgetown citizens who have grave concerns about the proposed *500-ton* transfer station that the G. Mello Corporation proposes to build at the end of Carleton Drive. Georgetown's current transfer station is only 50 tons and serves 38% of town residents. Why do we need a station 10X larger in our small rural town?
All funds raised via this effort will go to legal costs incurred in opposing this transfer station.
