I’m honored to share that I’ve recently joined the Board of Directors for an organization incredibly close to my heart — Girl Power Rocks.
If you know me, you know I hate asking people for money. But I also believe in showing up — and over the years, I’ve done my best to support my friends and family through every fundraiser, cookie sale, celebration, and tough time. Today, I’m asking you to help me return that energy toward a cause that is truly life-changing.
This year marks a powerful milestone: 25 years of empowering “at-promise” girls across Miami-Dade County through juvenile justice intervention, mentorship, mental health services, and — most critically — safe housing.
Girl Power Rocks is now spearheading a groundbreaking $30 million housing development to support teens aging out of the foster care system — teens who would otherwise be at serious risk of homelessness. This project offers more than shelter; it offers stability, dignity, and hope for a brighter future.
In celebration of this legacy — and in my new role as Fundraising & Sustainability Chair — I’ve set a personal goal to raise
$25,000 through donations and match pledges for our 25th Anniversary Gala.
To kick things off, I’ve already put my money where my heart is —
I donated $5,000 of my own funds, and had it matched — doubling the impact from the start.

Every Dollar Doubled
Thanks to the generosity of a private donor, every dollar you donate will be matched.
Your $50 becomes $100.
Your $250 becomes $500.
No amount is too small — every bit helps.

One Ask. Big Impact.
If you give this year — even just $5 — you won’t hear from me again until 2027 (or maybe 2028 ).
But right now, I’m asking:
Can you give to support a girl who deserves a real chance at a safe and supported future?
And if you can’t give today, please share this campaign with someone who can.
Thank you for being part of this legacy and this vision for the next 25 years.
