About a year ago we got news from Florida that our baby cousin (2yrs old)had been placed in foster care. We were contacted by an attorney to ask if anyone in the family would take Long Term Custody of Danielle. My Brother Andrew & Sister in Law Amber said Yes! They have completed all necessary paperwork & a home study in order to meet requirements to gain custody of Danielle so that she can be raised in a Forever Family. The situation recently changed when the court in Florida decided to terminate parental rights of the biological parents. Which means that Danielle legally can no longer be placed in Long Term Custody here with Andrew& Amber in Orleans County NY. The good news is that she can be adopted!  There are many fees for the adoption process that add up quickly. The Foster family also wants to adopt Danielle.  The courts & child experts will decide what will be best for Danielle. We believe that being with her family is what's best for Danielle. She has a large extended family of many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, & of course a Mom, Dad , & little sister waiting for her! (I've included pics of Danielle the beautiful blonde haired girl!
