My name is Omar Shaggoura, and this is my family’s story. We hope you can help us restart our lives in northern Ghaza by donating generously so that we can begin to move ahead, bit by bit, from what life has become.

The incessant bombardment over the course of October 2023 to January 2025 meant that my family and I, a group of 11, lost everything. I, from my education and friends; my family, our home and livelihoods, our personal property too, which we have sold in order to raise funds for basic necessities.

Through the help of a few good people, like yourselves, my sister and I have been able to return to our education and progress. As my university has been destroyed, I have managed to do this online. But now we come to the discovery that our house has been destroyed, as shown in the attached image.

We have been forced into a situation in which rent is not cheap and hardly there. The destruction of homes has left few standing; the destruction of families has left many desperate. So we ask you, those reading this page, to please contribute towards our shared goal of $1000. Your donation will help to:

· Help us return to our home in Northern Ghaza

· Put money toward the rent of the new house in a Ghazan neighbourhood
