Hi, we are Jason and Melanie and we have been married for 11 years. We are in the process of adopting a wonderful 5 year old named Andrew from the Philippines. In 2012 we sold everything and moved to the Philippines to meet Andrew and begin the adoption process.

However, only months in, we were told that we had to return to the U.S. (without Andrew) and continue the process from abroad since the rules were somewhat different than we had been told originally. So here we are, midway through the process of bringing Andrew home and the financial strain is considerable.

Melanie and I are both working full time, but further help is required due to the heavy costs of international adoption. That's the reason we have created this campaign -- to ask for your help. And we appreciate each and every cent offered.
