My name is Ixy, and I am writing this on behalf of my family. On May 12, 2026, our world was turned upside down when our dad, Jesus Hernandez, was detained by ICE.

Our dad is a single dad of 6 kids with another on the way, and two of which are currently serving as Marines. Our dad is everything to us. He’s the hardest worker I know, and he is the anchor of our family. We are doing everything we can to stay strong for each other, but the truth is, we are terrified. We need our dad, and he needs a lawyer.

We know that fighting an immigration case requires strong legal counsel, but as a family with six kids, we don't have the savings to afford an immigration attorney on our own. We have connected with a lawyer who believes our dad has a strong case to stay with us, but we urgently need to raise the retainer fee to get them working on his release.
