Ayana McAllister Scholarship Fund

D.C. police said Ayana McAllister, who grew up in Upper Marlboro, was watching a music video being filmed in Northeast Washington on a Monday night March 19, 2017 when gunfire suddenly erupted. Ayana was fatally struck and succumbed to the violent act on March 20, 2017. Ayana was highly active in fashion, social media, and had been active on her Largo HS basketball team even serving as the manager her senior year. She also joined the JROTC that year. Ayana before death was a 2nd semester Freshman at Saint Augustine's University in Raleigh NC where she attended with her sister N' Daja. She majored in Criminal Justice. This fund is established with anticipation of the parents funding a rising college freshman each year to support students that are Criminal Justice Majors with a GPA of 2.0 and evidence of extra curricular activities and community service hours. Each year in March the parents with announce recipients of this award. May God Bless You for your Donations to this Fund and contributors will receive receipt from the The Ayana McAllister Scholarship Organization a formidable 501c3 for tax deduction.
