On the morning of April 15th 2023, clashes broke out between the Sudanese armed forces and the RAF in Khartoum along with other cities in Sudan. This is a culmination of rising tensions between two warlords, fighting for power and control over Sudan. Both are using heavy weaponry during these clashes and many innocent civilians have been caught in the crossfires. Their homes looted, and burned down, forcing them to evacuate and seek refuge in other countries. The average civilian doesn’t have the funds to flee the country as they make their living on a day to day basis, leaving them stuck in a war zone with no food, electricity, water, or gas, with many left homeless. The average civilian has to pay $300-$500 per person to get on a bus that can safely get them to their neighboring country, Egypt. Prices increase everyday and the average Sudanese civilian does not make $300 a year. Help raise money for those unable to afford to escape the war zone.
