More information about Neema Village Tanzania: Between the high maternal mortality rate and poverty causing abandonment, Neema Village cares for infants and works with social services in Arusha to find Tanzanian adoptive parents. It also cares for at-risk infants who are returned to their fathers or extended family members when able. It helps women start their own businesses, empowering them to care for their children.
