My Best Friend Is Getting Evicted From Her Home

I come to you with a heavy heart and a plea for support. My best friend did not ask me to do this, but I am hoping to touch your hearts with her story. Amber and her three children are currently fighting an unimaginable and heart-wrenching situation. Amber lost her job two months ago (November), after her three year old daughter got extremely sick. After 3 weeks her daughter was back up and healthy, but Amber got extremely sick. After losing her job, she starting doing 1099 jobs to stay afloat. She is busting her butt to make rent and still cover other bills, but she is in a tough spot.

Amber is a single mother and has been applying for jobs left, and right the past two months. I am not trying to embarrass her or make her look like a charity case, but I love my friend and I am not trying to see her or her babies on the street. She has a heart of gold and would never do this for herself, so I am here to do it for her.

As of Jan 8th, she has gotten an eviction notice and a 5-day pay to quit from her landlord. It is cold here in Virginia, and I never want to see her or her children out on the street. I am asking for ALL HELP anyone can spare. She is a loving person, beautiful soul and a wonderful mother. She isn't a prideful person, but again I am not trying to overstep and embarrass her. I just want to give her the same love and support she gives to so many people.

I am trying to raise $5000 for her to pay rent for December 2023 , January 2024 and February 2024. This will cover the rent, late fees and court cost for her. She has all proof of her situation and paper trail of all rejection letters from programs she has reached out too.
