Kathy and her family

Dearest Family and Friends,

It's never easy to ask for help, but I'm reaching out on behalf of my sister Kathy, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

For those of you who know Kathy and my brother in law Steve, know they are the most caring and giving individuals you would ever meet. They are hardworking parents of 3 beautiful children who are very active in school, sports and extra curricula activities.

As you can imagine, the news was devastating, but in the face of adversity, Kathy and Steve have shown great strength and resilience.

Kathy has recently undergone a double mastectomy with the hopes of doctors getting it all. Unfortunately, the report showed that it spread and she will need to receive chemotherapy treatment before another surgery for reconstruction.

Kathy has a long journey ahead of her. However, with the help of you, her family and friends, it is my hope we can alleviate the stress of medical bills, meals, child care and any unforseen expenses as they navigate through this emotional and difficult time.
