Recently, my 4-month old daughter, Cirilla, went in for her check-up. At her check-up, my daughter's pediatrician recommended Cirilla be admitted to the hospital for overnight observation due to rapid breathing. The intention was to check for respiratory viruses and make sure her rapid respirations were an isolated anomaly. Part of the work-up included in checking for viruses was a chest x-ray. Cirilla's chest x-ray showed she has 2 ribs in the healing stage from a fracture. My husband and I were blindsided by this news, since our sweet girl had never acted as though she was in pain and never changed her demeanor at any point, not to mention multiple doctors who had seen Ciri previously never mentioned the possibility of something so major. But we were blindsided yet again when child services got involved and accused my husband and I of intentionally hurting our baby girl. As of now, Cirilla is not allowed to be with her parents without pre-approved supervision, and she's not allowed to come home.

I'm making this Gofundme because my husband and I have a lengthy and emotional battle against child services ahead of us. We will need legal counsel and multiple second opinions from multiple doctors in order to prove that not only did we not do this, but that we deserve to have our beautiful, precious baby come home. Between the costs of these doctors, and the separate attorneys required, we have a huge financial burden ahead of us.
