Feeding Our First Responders

The Covid19 pandemic has changed the way we live, the way we work and the way we eat.  More importantly this crisis has shown everyone the tireless efforts of our First Responders.  The Doctors, Nurses, Firefighters, Paramedics, EMT's, Police Officers and Sheriff Deputies.  These heroes are putting their lives on the line everyday and often they simply do not have time to get a healthy meal. 

The team at Press and Grind Cafe in Fort Lauderdale has been inspired by the generosity of our community.  Through the generous donations of others we have been fortunate enough to help feed several Hollywood & Fort Lauderdale area First Responders.  It is our goal to feed the staff of every Hospital, Fire Station, Police Station and Sheriff's office in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area.

As a result of the Covid19 pandemic crisis many restaurants have been forced to close or layoff employees.  We are committed to provide these meals At Cost in an effort to also help keep our staff "on the clock" and feeling good about helping others.  This pandemic will not "get the best of us" but it will "bring out the best In Us".  These Frontline workers from all over Fort Lauderdale make it their mission in life to keep our community safe & healthy.  They can't stop so neither will the team at Press & Grind Cafe.   We as a CommUnity are all in this together and we are grateful for all of the contributions we have received toward these efforts.

We are making an extra effort for This Friday, September 11 so that we can provide meals to all local area Fort Lauderdale First Responders as our way of saying THANK YOU for all of the sacrifices these Brave Men & Women make so they can protect and serve our community.  Any donation you can afford to make is greatly appreciated
