Our Community Needs Our Help!

There is a need in our local community and we have the ability to  step up and help.

With COVID-19 there is an unbelievable shortage of supplies for our medical professionals.

What can a bunch of makers and tinkerers do while we are sitting at home?

WE CAN 3D PRINT AND BE PART OF THE SOLUTION!

At tinkrLAB over the past 5 years, we have had so many  customers turned friends who have trusted us with their
3D Printing needs.
 
So now, we turn to them.

In partnership with East Lansing Public Schools, we have pulled together over 30 printers from individuals, schools, and
even local teens. People who are willing to donate their time to 3D Print N95 masks that will be donated to
Sparrow Hospital.

This is where we need YOUR support and help. We want to get as many masks printed as possible.

To do that we need to make sure our Print Force has access to the filament and supplies they need.

We need donations to cover the cost of the filament and finishing supplies for the masks (elastic, filters, etc).

We work with Michigan Small Business, 3DxTech out of Grand Rapids as our filament supplier. 

They produce an exceptional product.

We have spoken with them directly and they are on board to help supply us with whatever we need.


Here’s the breakdown:

1 spool of filament = $35

1 spool of filament = 20 masks

Our first *we hope to surpass this* goal is $3500.

This will provide 100 spools to our Print Force and produce 2000 masks that can be used in our own community.

We will continue printing as long as our medical professionals need us to and we can provide our Print Force with the
filament they need.
