3D Printer to Supply PPE
Donation protected
When schools closed a few weeks ago due to COVID-19, I had 2 hours to collect materials from my classroom. I decided to take my classroom 3D printer to use for my own 2 children at home. A week later, I was scrolling through Facebook and I came across a call for help from the medical world. After a few short emails, I was beginning to print PPE equipment for local hospitals.
In 2 weeks, I have sent over 75 medical mask braces and well over 500 surgical mask ear guards. My printer is running 16-18 hours a day. I get requests for equipment each day and I'd like to fulfill those requests quicker.
This campaign is to purchase a second 3D printer, more filament (the plastic used for printing) and to cover some shipping charges of the PPE sent out.
I am not charging anyone for my time or materials. All shipping and materials will always be free to the recipients.
