PLEASE HELP KENNY'S FAMILY

In the early hours of 1st January, the lives of Kenny's family changed forever.

Partner Karren and sons Marley, Jahleel, Eli and Kaanjue were left devastated after finding Kenny had passed from a tragic and sudden heart-attack. Kenny was a young, active and devoted member of his family, workplace and local community.

A proud Gunggandji man, he worked at the local school here in Yarrabah and spent his days guiding and supporting the young boys of his community. He was one of the most giving and selfless people you could ever meet.

Being so young, and as a man who spent more time helping others than he did thinking of himself, Kenny had not gotten around to arranging his own life insurance. Unfortunately this means that, in addition to her terrible grief, Karren is left with the burden of paying for a funeral as well as supporting 4 young boys through this awful and sad time.

To raise awareness for the situation Karren now finds herself in, and in support of our mate Kenny, a group of us will be bleaching and dyeing our hair red (his favourite colour). We invite you to also throw your support behind Karren and the boys by donating any small amount you can. All money raised will go to Karren, helping with funeral costs and supporting her four boys during this difficult time.

Karren is now facing the reality of supporting her four boys on a single income and will benefit from any support we can afford to give.
