Let’s help bring Carlos home! ❤️

As some of you may or may not know, our Carlos suffers from Huntington’s disease, a neurological, terminal brain disorder. No one is sweeter than he. His smile and presence light up every room he walks into.

Unfortunately, over the weekend, he went to Denver, Colorado, to be with his HD Family, and after the weekend event, he took a turn for the worst

and ended up in ICU with a brain bleed from a fall. Because of the brain bleed, he has been advised not to take a commercial flight, and Stu, his husband, would love nothing more than for him to come home so that he can have the support of his friends and HD Family while he navigates the ending of this disease. To say the least, it has been so hard on both of them being alone in a hospital many miles away. Carlos’s wishes are to die at home, surrounded by friends and HD Family. Insurance will not cover any of the cost for a medical flight to bring him home.
