Rural African Children need school bus

Akoma International Academy of Arts and Sciences, located in Ayensudo Elmina, is a registered NGO (Non Governmental Organization) in Ghana, West Africa.

Our school has been in operation since 2004. We are quite proud of the eight children who successfully graduated from the 9^th grade and have gone on to Senior Secondary (High School) and/or Vocational Schools.

However, our school bus is unrepairable and we are in desperate need of a good school bus to transport our children to and from school. Most of them are poor rural farmers children who live long distances from the school and it is our task to go into the interior to bring them out for school. We originally had over 100 students from the community that were registered at our school, unfortunately because we are now without a bus, most of the children have no way to get to school.
