On August 28th, tragedy struck when Lily Puchalski’s home in Patchogue was destroyed in a devastating fire. In just a matter of hours, she lost everything — her clothes, furniture, personal belongings, and the place she called home. Thankfully, she is safe, but she is left starting completely from scratch with nothing but the clothes on her back.
Lily is one of the kindest, most giving people you’ll ever meet. She works as an infant teacher at a daycare, dedicating her days to caring for and nurturing the youngest children in our community. She has always been there for her friends, and the little ones she looks after — now it’s our turn to be there for her.
She needs help to cover immediate essentials like clothing, food, and temporary housing, and eventually to rebuild her life and replace what was lost.
Any donation, no matter the size, will make a huge difference. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page so it reaches more people.
Let’s come together as a community to lift Lily up during this incredibly difficult time. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your generosity, kindness, and support.
