While in Ukraine we are volunteering with civil society groups that bring light and hope to Ukrainians. As volunteers, we receive and deliver aid like this ambulance that we are pictured in, which was filled with medical aid and humanitarian supplies to deliver to southern and eastern Ukraine. In these recently de-occupied areas, there are many vulnerable Ukrainian families and elderly Ukrainian people living under constant threat of russian attacks.

We hear often hear from our friends that people feel helpless in Canada, or think that there is nothing they can do. But imagine if Ukrainians had felt that way four years ago – when no one believed they could resist a much larger invading army. Ukrainians resisted a much stronger enemy then, and continue to resist today because they recognize that EVERY SMALL GOOD ACTION makes a contribution that effects positive change.
