My name is Omar — from Gaza, and still hoping
My name is hala. I am a young brother
from Gaza and I’m writing this because I have no other choice
Our home was destroyed in the bombing. My father was injured in the war and he can no longer work. We don’t have enough food or clean water. Every day is a struggle to survive. I have little siblings who cry at night not from fear but from hunger and thirst
We lost everything — our home, our school, our safety. I used to dream of becoming a doctor but my education stopped when the war began. Now all I dream about is food and shelter
We are not asking for luxury. We just want to live. We need bread, clean water, medicine for my father and milk for my baby brother. If you are reading this please don’t ignore it. Your help, no matter how small, can save us
Please share. Please help. We are still here. Still breathing. Still hoping
