Help Refugees in Calais

During a week in August I will volunteer at the Calais Refugee Community Kitchen, where hot meals are prepared and provided to refugees still stranded in Calais. The video shared here explains much better than I ever could about why these people need your help, and why donations are crucial. I would like to take much needed items with me, such as blankets, sleeping bags, clothes, toiletries, etc., but I won't be able to carry much as I will travel by train. This is why I am asking for economic contributions that will buy things like soap, blankets and shoes. I am so proud to have such a socially-aware and generous network and I know you will give what you can. Your donations will not only help refugees on a physiological level, but giving money sends the compassionate message that we care about them, even from afar. Thank you so much.
