UPDATE July 28, 2023

WE MATCHED!!! We found out today that we matched with a baby who is due around mid-December. Thank you everyone for your prayers and support! We are continuing to focus on our fundraising efforts but there is now a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you again!

Friends and family! As many of you already know, we are trying to grow our family through the adoption process! Ever since we were dating (over 10 years ago now!), we’ve had the desire to build our family through adoption. We have big hearts for children – and for all of humanity – and we view all of our relationships big-picture. For us, this love for others runs deeper than blood and includes not only biological family members, but also those that we choose to bring into our family. We strongly believe that mere blood relations are not what form a family, but rather the love and care that we share with one another. We’re very much looking forward to extending this "bigger-than-blood" lifestyle to a child that we’re entrusted to adopt!

Adoption is quite the endeavor, filled with paperwork, pictures, appointments, trainings, waiting, and financial hurdles. The financial aspect is a major piece of the puzzle, and we recognize that it's going to take a village to gather the funds needed to complete the adoption. We are looking for support to help us grow our family and begin this next stage of our lives. The funds you donate to this cause will go towards legal fees, services, and, most notably, supporting the expectant mother before and after birth.
