Help Your MATES

MATES is a not for profit Community Interest Company created to be a support group in our community for people struggling with their mental health and to help improve peoples positive mental health.

We started MATES in 2017 and have made a difference over the past few years. MATES is based around a private chat group taht allows people to tell us how they feel and discuss mental health and what they are going through. We have held regular Weekly mental health and wellbeing walk and talks in Chelmsford as well as Colchester. We have weekly drop ins and also run MATES FC non commitment football which has seen over 100 Saturday games, Sunday League team and Thursday sessions with over 320 different attendees.

For two of the past 6 years we have received partial funding for elements of MATES FC but other than that MATES runs purely on anything donated but generally all by donations from its founder David Chase.

We desperately need funds to help us keep going and to allow us to expand and provide a reliable strong support group for our community.
