Help Ensure a Safe Future for Eli and Zelda

Hello, my name is John Sachs, and I am the father of two beautiful children—Eli (12) and Zelda (8). For the past five years, I have been their primary caretaker while striving to hold my family together.

Over the past year, my children have lived exclusively with me as I began a new career as a teacher. I recently moved into a new apartment with the express purpose of providing a safe, stable home for them—before this latest wave of uncertainty began.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I can no longer save my marriage, and I must fight for the safety and future of my children.

Out of respect for their mother, I will not share details about what has happened over these past five years or what is happening now. However, if you have known me or my wife for any length of time, you may already have some understanding of the situation.

What now lies ahead is the difficult and inevitable legal process of securing custody of my children—something I must do to ensure they can continue living in the safe, stable, and loving home I have worked so hard to provide for them. This is why I am reaching out.
