The Family of Trevor Courtney
Donation protected
Trevor Courtney unexpectedly lost his life at just 30 years old on November 29, 2023. Trevor became ill in August with what was originally diagnosed as a sinus infection. After multiple rounds of antibiotics he still wasn’t better and was actually getting worse. He was experiencing debilitating headaches and after several pleas to the doctors he received an MRI where a mass was found in his nasal cavity. He was referred to an ENT who then referred him to a rhinologist. While awaiting these appointments Trevor’s pain became so severe he was taken into the local ER hoping for some relief. He was sent home with pain medication but unfortunately the pain would come back full force. On Saturday, November 25 Trevor went to an ER in Indy where they performed a biopsy of the mass, was given more pain meds and sent home, again. Trevor was still in agonizing pain and his wife and parents weren’t giving up so he was taken to a second ER in Indy. The ER doctors immediately took action starting with getting his pain under control and preformed an MRI and CT scan. This is when they discovered the mass had grown, now into his orbital area and the first mention of the mass being malignant occurred. The hospital worked to get a team of doctors together including an ENT, ophthalmologist and a neurologist to discuss a plan of action. They were to meet on Wednesday afternoon and meet with Trevor on Thursday morning. Unfortunately Trevor didn’t make it til then. In the early morning hours of Wednesday, Trevor coded in his hospital room. His heart had stopped.
Trevor leaves behind his wife, Kristina, who is currently pregnant with their third child who will arrive in February. Also their 5 year old son, Azlan and 4 year old son, Malikai. Trevor was a devoted Christian man, an adoring husband and loving father. His faith and the family he had created meant the world to him. Trevor was also a hard working individual who went above and beyond to give his family the best life.
All donations will go directly to Kristina and her babies. To keep a roof over their heads, food in their bellies, and any other expenses that Trevor is no longer here to cover.
