“Love Thy Neighbor As Thyself”

Hi there everyone, my name is Laura Koenes and I’m making a fundraiser for my next door neighbor, Mrs. Kathy Veits. Firstly, I would like to start by saying that everything I post is humbly with her permission. Kathy leads a life where she is always a kind and selfless woman who faithfully follows God and relentlessly helps others in need. She is a mother and also a Grandma. She was widowed back in 2009 by her husband of 52 years, Roland Viets, and has since been living alone. Recently, she was unknowingly involved in a terrible scandal where she attempted to financially help someone, but she was scammed for every penny that was supposed to sustain her for the duration of her life. She is now 87 years old and has medical issues, yet spends most nights driving for Uber to pay her bills. Last night, her vehicle, her means of income, was repossessed from her home. She has been struggling for so long and I would LOVE very much to help her catch up, get her car back, get her some food, and keep her from losing her home this holiday season. Mostly, I want her to know peace. She has always been such a good and faithful servant to not only God, but also to her community. It would be incredible to see our community reach back the same helping hand. Any amount would be appreciated or even any food donations would be greatly welcomed.
