I am continuing this fundraiser to ensure that the rest of my family can safely leave Gaza as soon as the border opens. The situation remains critical, and every contribution helps us be prepared to act quickly when the opportunity arises. Your support is giving my family hope, and we are deeply grateful for every donation and share.

Thanks to your support, earlier this year I was able to get my parents and 3 of my siblings out of Gaza, unfortunately I did not raise enough money to get the rest of my family out before the border closed.

Extending the Campaign

The goal is to raise enough funds to evacuate my four remaining siblings, their partners, and their children from Gaza. The cost for their escape is significant, but with your continued support, I believe we can achieve this. Here is what your money will go towards:

Meet My Family in Need.

Fedaa, 36 years old, is a resilient and generous mother of five who tragically lost her eldest daughter, Remas, in the bombings. her surviving children Retaj (11 yo), Retal (9 yo), Masa (7 yo) and her husband Ahmed (36 yo) Despite this heart-wrenching loss, she remains an inspiring figure. Fedaa graduated with a degree in Business Administration and ran her own successful online restaurant before the war disrupted her life.

Walaa, 34 years old, is a brilliant and noble mother of three Tala (13 yo), Mohammed (11 yo) and Taleen (6 yo) , her husband Hafez (35 yo ). She graduated in International Affairs Studies and worked at the Municipality of Jabalya until she lost her job due to the ongoing conflict. Her charming personality and strength continue to shine through despite the adversity she faces.

Fadi, 32 years old, is a courageous and kind father of two children Zeina (8yo) and Mohammed (6 yo), his wife Mountha (27 yo). A Business School graduate, he worked alongside our father in the family business, which was destroyed by the bombings. His radiant spirit has helped him remain hopeful and supportive of our family during these challenging times.

Shady, 28 years old, is a luminous and dynamic father of two Joud (5 yo) and Mohammed (3 yo) and his wife Heba (27 yo) . He used to work in a school with children, a job he loved until the school was destroyed in the conflict. Now, he works with the World Food Kitchen, providing much-needed aid to people in Gaza. His magnificent efforts in helping others highlight his unyielding dedication and strength.

I extend my heartfelt plea to you, driven by the urgency of the dire situation my family faces in Gaza.

I am Husam, a civil engineer from Gaza, currently residing in Belgium, pursuing my graduate degree.

Tragically, since October 7th, my family has already mourned the loss of my 13 year old niece, Remas, six other close relatives, and tens of the extended family and friends, whose lives have been claimed by the war.

Meanwhile, my family’s primary source of income, my father’s supermarket business, was recently reduced to rubble, further crippling our financial stability. In addition, my passionate commitment to peace efforts has unfortunately placed my family in greater peril, making them targets of those opposed to such efforts.

With every passing day, my family faces more dangers, and I am asking you to help me get them to safety. Any donation would be much appreciated! I am already working on getting them to Belgium, but first, we need them to get to Egypt as soon as possible!

The Urgent Situation:

Since October 2023, my family has been fleeing constant bombings, forced out of their homes, and witnessing the loss of my niece, uncle and other family members. The current situation is dire, with no haven from hunger, dehydration, displacement, illnesses, and relentless bombings. They now find themselves in a tent in Rafah south of Gaza.
