Western Albemarle Baseball Field Groomer Campaign

After years of great service, Albemarle County Parks and Rec is no longer able to maintain the Western Albemarle Baseball field. While Albemarle County and Building Services has offered to pick up some of the slack, our goal as a program is to be as self sufficient as possible and to maintain the field on our schedule and to the high standards of our program. Those standards comes at a high cost and with high level equipment needs....the two largest being a mower to keep a playable outfield and a groomer which keeps the infield dirt flat, SAFE and easier to bring back to life following central Virginia weather.

The Western Baseball Boosters (a 501c3 Non profit) has secured a mower to take care of the outfield on our own. But we need the community's help to raise funds for a field groomer.
