Kitale Family House of Hope is a nonprofit charitable institution devoted to the rescue and rehabilitation of orphans and vulnerable children in Kitale, Kenya.
In a community plagued by poverty, sexual violence, and the kidnapping and trafficking of children, a safe and reliable means of transportation, to and from school, is of the highest priority to protect students from any potential violence they may face in the absence of an institutional vehicle.
Due to limited funds, their current school bus continues to break down making it an extremely unreliable means of transportation. There's also a need for more seats as the number of children in the school increases. Without an immediate solution, more students are forced to travel on foot and risk the potential dangers that ensue.
100% of each donation will go towards the purchase of their new school bus. With the suggested donation, your name will be physically engraved on either the exterior of the new bus or the seats inside the vehicle.
Let's come together as a community and make a real difference in the lives of these beautiful children in East Africa.
