Fundraise for BVA Improvements & Reconciliation

Dear Applicant and General Public,

this specific fundraising was created in the name and with authorization of Article 116 - Exclusions Group 's Chairman and his wife, Mrs. Isabelle and Mr. Felix Couchman, as we are working together to raise funds to be able to attend several meetings in Germany so that the German government can address the ongoing needs of people that have been benefited with the positive changes in German nationality law.

One of the most worrying needs is the shortage of staff, its training, and processing times at the BVA (Bundesverwaltungsamt). Currently there is an enormous queue due to the amount of pending applications and there needs to be a change in this too.

Mrs. and Mr. Couchman have already attended a meeting in Cologne at the BVA's headquarters, although there needs to be more meetings there as well as in Berlin with members of the government. It is not easy to make changes to occur, as some may think. It takes time and patience. It takes building confidence with gov't officials. It takes logistics.

As it is expected, each meeting entails a trip back and forth between the U.K. and Germany and this entails multiple costs that as a group, they need to be covered. So please, help us to help you as a beneficiary of the changes in German nationality law.
