Baby Otto and the Fortunato Family

Hello all,

I am reaching out today to ask that you keep my sister and nephew in your thoughts and prayers. My sister had just had baby Otto on Tuesday, November 14th with a seemingly healthy baby boy. It wasn't until a couple days later that she began to realize some abnormalities and took him to the hospital. It was when she brought him back that they realized things were not right.

Baby Otto was then transferred to the NICU by the following Monday with rather severe health complications (In respect for my sister and her family, I will keep all medical specifics private).

Following being in the NICU receiving treatment for days now, specialists at the Univeristy of Michigan referred baby otto to be flown via jet to their hospital in Ann Arbor to receive further testing and treatment. Ann Arbor is where he currently is still receiving these testing and treatments (his case is quite rare).

I'm reaching out today also to ask for any donations if at all possible, anything helps. My sister is an extremely busy mother of five already with an incredibly hardworking husband and they aren't able to work currently due to being with their baby boy. I want to relieve them of as much financial stress as possible while they prioritize the health of their precious baby.
