Recently, our family has been subjected to domestic and sexual abuse by our stepfather. To maintain privacy, we prefer not to disclose any names. The right course of action was to report the abuse immediately, which is what we did, but this decision has had significant consequences. We are being forcibly evicted from our home permanently, and our lease is expiring without any exceptions. As we were informed, “You need to leave immediately,” we are left with no place to go.
