It Takes a Village

Hey everyone, I am Lindsey and I am hoping to raise money for my aunt, uncle, and cousins who are dealing with a truly devastating fire. Monday night, the family woke up at 2:00 am to find their pole barn building fully engulfed. This building kept their camper, truck, two cars, gardening supplies, tools, hunting gear, treestands, and irreplaceable sentiment. So many of the activities the family did together are completely gone. The Jasper fire department did an amazing job until they ran out of water. Then the Huntingburg and Ireland fire departments helped manage the rest. Even worse, the plumbing systems from this building and the house are connected so all the water from the building went down the drain and backed up in the drains and toilets in the basement. Not only do they have a total loss due to the fire, but now they are faced with severe flood damage in the basement of their home. They will need to replace the carpet, flooring, walls, and more. Given the situation, they are in the best spirits possible, but the tedious job of working with insurance is still ahead of them. Still, they will lose so much and there is a lot to be replaced due to astronomic replacement costs. Anything left over will be donated to the local Fire Departments. Please please help me in supporting them through such a heartbreaking situation. It really does take a village!
