Hiya You Beautiful People, Most of you will know if you follow our journey online with what our goals are, but firstly, I will explain why this Go Fund Me is being made, then I will tell you about our goals in our social media career.
We already have a Short Wheel Base AUTOMATIC Mercedes Sprinter but we are trying to get rid of this, this really isn't good for my wheelchair, 2 dogs, 2 cages what collapses, me, my wife, our luggage and the way I get onto the bed is awful. We want a van (pictured within this Go Fund Me) that will have a ramp to get into it so I can get onto the drivers seat with ease and get into the rest of the van without help. At the moment with our current van, I have to slide onto the side door step, get lifted up twice on the 2 steps then onto the passenger seat then slide over to the driver seat, then to get out, I got to do all this again but in reverse. So when we go to support people, I can't fully as I tend to not get out of the van.
We really want to be able to call this "Welsh Campers On Tour Community Mental Health Support Hub" or "Welsh Campers On Tour Rolling Mental Health Support Hub" so I can do all the phoning up for people, help with all their paperwork to the professionals, help write letters and have a hot or cold drink while having our support chats. We can do 1 to 1 or if people would like and if they ain't to far apart, we could do a group meet up. If a female wants a female chat then this is also ok and if a male wants a male chat then this is also ok... we are very accommodating. We have a therapy dog also which would be amazing if our dog Buddy can help others, even if it gets people out of their house etc. In the meantime, we cannot fulfill this fully until we get a suitable van. We want to turn this into our full time home aswel so we can help people all over the UK. We have seen a van forsale but no way can be afford £15,000 plus the £3,000 to alter the layout which we can adapt to ourselves. We only have £1,000 so we are trying our best. We wasn't going to do this Go Fund Me but our beautiful family followers insisted. So we hope we get the chance to get on the road properly. We have added a few screenshots of what our lovely family followers have said about us and how positive and genuine we are by helping others.
So, for people who doesn't know, out social media goal is to become monetised along with our coffee app, we will be putting it back into the community as to where it is needed most when others don't get the chance... we want to be able to get upgraded wheelchairs for people who can't get them funded via the NHS which we will then get someone to properly measure the person in question and let that person choose a colour and their own wheelchair to a certain price range, this is including children. IF the wheelchair is no longer required, we will then be able to pass it on to another person if the measurements are ok. We already have 1 lady on our list. Also, our next aim is to help with medical emergency fees etc if time isn't on your side. We want to be able to help someone who is suffering really bad with mental health, we would love to pay for them to go away for a few nights with a +1 at an all inclusive holiday park or at a hotel etc. So, this will be money from our monetisation and with the help of people donating to our coffee app. We are struggling at the moment though with this. It is very slowly picking up but fingers crossed it will take off soon with all of our hard work paying off.
So sorry for the long winded description, but we just wanted to be fully open and transparent with you all. We want to be able to show anyone the receipts also, to show what the money is being spent on. I know we don't have to but we want to.
