Hi everyone, My name is Sue Jensen. I live in Minnesota. My grandson, Nathan, his wife, and two young children moved here several months ago and live not too far from me.

Recently, they've had a serious medical situation, that has put them in a major financial bind. We all know about getting behind when a family member is down; and no one is comfortable asking for help. So, I am asking for help for them.

Nathan is working a full-time job. His wife stays home with their children. With the stress of added medical appointments, medications, and the need for childcare, we are looking for help with paying bills, gas money, food, etc. To give you an idea of what they need, the rent is $1400/month, bills approximately $800, not including food for a family of 4, daily necessities, gas to fill the pickup, being about $80 to fill. Rent is already behind and electric is due. We're working with the landlord and the electric company, making as many arrangements as we possibly can. Regardless of our efforts, at the end of the day, payments must be made.

Our family is a tight unit, always giving and helping each other with all we possibly can, but some situations demand greater help. This is, without a doubt, one of those unfortunate times.
