How to begin again
How to live again
Our eyes shed rain and rain
What we have lived was so hard
We are bodies with no supply
Our Hope's fall and fall
What to recall and recall
Our past is no more.
My name is Ahmed Al-Sebakhi, I am 42 years old, a husband to my beloved wife Huda, and a proud father of four wonderful children. For many years, I worked hard to provide my family with a safe and stable life. But recently, everything changed in ways I could never have imagined.
I lost our home the place where my children felt safe, where we built our memories. I lost our car, which was my only way to work and take care of my family. And, most painfully, I lost my job our only source of income.
Today, we are left without stable shelter and without the means to meet even our most basic needs. My children look at me every day with eyes full of fear and hope, and I am trying to stay strong for them. But the truth is, I cannot face this alone.
My children are my life and my greatest blessing: my eldest son Feras, who is now studying medicine in Egypt and facing high educational expenses; my youngest son Mohammed; and my two beloved daughters Hala and Bisan, for whom I dream of a secure and dignified future.
My youngest son, Mohammed, is in his final year of high school (Tawjihi). For two long years, the war has taken away his chance to study, to learn, and even to sit for his exams. Only very recently, he was finally able to take his high school exams online—under the harshest of conditions and without any resources. Mohammed has always dreamed of succeeding, going to university, and building a better future for himself. He was so eager and full of hope, but the war has crushed his dreams and left him with little to hold on to. With your compassion and support, Mohammed can once again find hope, continue his education, and rebuild the future that every child deserves.
That is why I created this fundraiser. I am humbly asking for your support to help me rebuild our lives, to give my children back the security they deserve, and to give us a chance to start again.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference for us. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your generosity. May God bless you always.
