320km walk for farmers drought aid

This year I have been very fortunate in spending a memorable few months working at Kitchwin Hills in the Upper Hunter Valley.

But during this time I have also seen at first hand the devastating effects of the current extreme drought on the neighbouring farmers.
The worst drought in over 100 years has left farmers struggling to feed their animals due to the lack of grass and hay prices which have gone sky high.

Before I leave to return to Ireland I want to help out in a small way with those most in need locally.

Next week I am going to attempt to walk from Coffs Harbour to the Gold Coast some 320kms - something Inhave never done before!

I’ve seen how farming communities and friends can support each other in hard times and I hope I can do my bit.
Do help if you can.
Thank you!
