31st Walthamstow FE Scouts Fundraiser

31st Walthamstow FE Scouts was founded in 2019 as a Non-Profit scouts group and is one the branches of Fatima Elizabeth Phrontistery (https://www.fatimaelizabethphrontistery.co.uk/).

We currently run Beavers (6y-8y), Cubs (8-10.5y) and Scouts (10.5y - 14.5y) during the academic calendar on Friday evenings in Walthamstow, London.

The challenges with rising costs across all areas has really impacted 31st Walthamstow FE Scouts and we really need a cash injection for us to continue to work effectively and provide the very best for our youth!

This fundraiser is to help with our growth and expansion.

We are taking on more volunteers and aim to open new sections in the future, which would in turn allow many of the current children from our ever growing waiting list to join us insha'Allah.

The are a number of areas where your donation would help immensely -

1. Travel costs to the Muslim Scout Fellowship World Jamboree being held in the Midlands in July 2023.

2. Camping Equipment for our current and future camping trips (we are aiming for at least 3 camps per year as a minimum).

3. External day trips and overnight stays/experiences

4. Internal Site Visits e.g. Guests that attend our venue to provide learning experiences, such as the current Scouts Cycle Training which is run by a British Cycling Instructor

5. Storage - We would like to rent a storage facility for our current and future equipment

Plus many more areas, all for the benefit of our Scouts!

Scouting is the biggest youth movement in the world - Fact!

The life skills scouting encompasses and teaches is like no other and we want to make 31st Walthamstow Fatima Elizabeth Scouts more accessible, affordable, bigger and better Insha'Allah.
