Good day my friends, family, and folks who I may not know,

My name is Sean Chee, just a dude in this world. However I am turning 31 this week on March 8th, 2026. I’m so excited to be raising money for Envision Freedom Fund, previously known as Brooklyn Community Bail Fund.

Their mission is to work alongside impacted communities to dismantle the oppressive and interconnected criminal legal and immigration systems. With freedom as their guiding principle, they invest in innovative campaigns and programs that aim to win long-term, transformative change, while meeting the urgent needs of community members in the present.

Seeing how the state of my country these last few years, let alone months, has made me feel so angry, tired, proud, happy, frustrated, and a number of other emotions that I didn’t expect.

I think it’s normal to feel helpless as just one person in this big world of ours. However, remember that anybody can make an impact. The definition of an impact is “the action of one object coming forcibly into contact with another.” It doesn’t have to be a strong force. If many of us try our best, big changes will happen.
