Bogey and I are participating in a 31-mile walk to support the American Cancer Society (ACS) in their efforts to create a world without cancer. In October of last year, my stepmother, Sara—affectionately known as Nana—who deeply loved both all dogs and her grandchildren, passed away from cancer. Her loss is felt every day, and I hope that through walking and fundraising, I can contribute meaningfully to this important cause.
