Please help my best friend's cancer treatment

Hi, I'm Adela and I'm running the Race for Life Sheffield 5k 2023 on 11 June 2023 to raise funds for my best friend's cancer treatment.

Last October my best friend had the unexpected and terrible diagnosis of metastatic stage 4 lung cancer. Since then she is receiving treatment to contain and delay the cancer for as long as possible and to help to reduce the associated symptoms. She has also started a course of additional treatment aiming to prolong her life and afford her more quality time with her 2 young children of 4 and 2.

Unfortunately, this treatment comes at great financial cost therefore any contributions and fundraising activities, however small, are wholeheartedly appreciated. She and her family do not know how much more precious time they will have together but every hour and every day they are given is now a true blessing.
