Challenge 21 Fundraiser
This year I'm taking part in Challenge 21 fundraiser, a 21 kilometers walk, for the Down Syndrome Centre Cork.
My son Seán has Down Syndrome and early intervention with various therapies such as speech and physio are critical in helping him reach his full potential. The centre has provided us with heavily subsidised appointments and workshops with their excellent therapists as well as a welcoming space to meet other families.
Myself, my husband Donnchadh, Seán's granny Eithne and auntie Martha are all going to walk the 21k from Haulbowline to the Marina on the 18th of June.
The centre is an invaluable resource for us and if you can donate something towards this fundraiser no matter how small we would appreciate it so much.
