My name is Felicia and I am a coach at CrossFit Syndicate. CFS is a place in Waterford that provides an inclusive environment for people of all abilities, to help increase their quality of life and interpersonal relationships within the community. CrossFit Syndicate found a strong need in our community to provide trailered fitness classes to people with disabilities in our area, which will be run by our specialized coaches. We have partnered with Uniquely Abled Fitness for their programming, and our hope is to raise enough funds so this program is FREE for these athletes.

The reason this mission is important to me is because even as a CrossFit coach, I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and I used to feel like I wasn’t fit enough, or that I wouldn’t fit in because of my disability. CrossFit Syndicate values inclusion, and it is heavy on my heart to expand the mission of this little gym throughout our community, where everyone can feel love and acceptance, all while creating a healthier lifestyle.
