313 Care Collective is an abolitionist, antifascist street medic and protest support organization based in Detroit, MI. We provide first aid, medical supplies, snacks, water and logistical support for direct action. We formed in May 2020 amidst the watershed moment of the international uprising against police brutality and have been on the streets supporting civil rights causes ever since.
It is an honor to show up for our communities in the capacities that we’re able to. We believe that mutual aid is a key component in community solidarity. We want to ensure feelings of safety and security for those who exercise their right to demonstrate and protest. Our community can count on us and we do not take that lightly.
With direct actions becoming more frequent as the weather warms up, we are getting more and more requests for our work. We work around the state, in Detroit, Shelby Twp, Dearborn, Lansing, Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids-- wherever people take to the streets. We are asking our community to help us be able to continue our work by donating to our fundraiser and sharing it within your circles.
Contributions go toward water, gatorade, snacks, masks, hand sanitizer, over-the-counter medication, PPE, first aid supplies, critical care supplies, and other equipment for our support team. We would not be able to continue to do this work without the generous donations from our community members. There is a role for everyone in this work and for those who support our work but may not be able to show up in the streets, we ask you to donate in order to keep us up and running.
