Hi there, my name is Li and I have lived here in Lincoln Heights for about 4 years. My landlord(s) have filed for eviction for unpaid backrent that I owe. There is a discrepancy with the amount owed, but I am trying to raise enough to hopefully pay off my debt and continue living at my place. Ultimately my landlords are trying to kick me out so they can raise the rent for new tenants - a common practice that is happening now. My next court date is two weeks from now, I am trying to raise as much as I can before that. It's hard for me to ask for help, but if you could donate, everything helps!!
