300KM ULTRA MARATHON

At the end of this month I’ll be running the width of Ireland in 4 days for the Mellon Educate charity.

This will be my biggest ever physical challenge and the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life physically. I’m really looking forward to it after a few tough weeks training but it’s for a great cause.

Mellon Educate builds schools in South Africa for some of the poorest kids in the world. With a big focus on teaching them English which affords them many more opportunities impossible without learning the language. I flew to South Africa 2 years ago to help in the construction of a school and the experience had a huge impact on me. This November I’ll be doing it for a second time.
