Recently, Our Journey Academy blessed me with the opportunity to visit Kenya and spread God’s love. While I was there I visited London, a dumpsite that hundreds of people live in. The people living here are some of the sweetest people you’d ever meet. There have been a few homes constructed in London but not nearly enough for all of the people and families living there. It costs around 300 USD for a home to be built there. I also was able to spend time at an orphanage and made many friends. The kids attend school and Church hosted by the orphanage and typically stay there until they graduate. In order for them to attend college, the founder of the orphanage has to find money to pay for it or the child’s sponsor helps.
