Ellis and I will be running a 30-hour gaming fundraiser stream on Thursday 11th June for Voyage. Voyage is a London based charity which focuses on driving the empowerment of BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) youth.
Voyage is a charity which reflects beliefs that both Ellis and I share regarding the disadvantages BAME young people face when growing up in a systemically racist society. Following on from the response the #BLM movement has created, we thought supporting a charity which focuses on grassroots issues for the children of tomorrow was the best place to start.
Voyage aims to transform disproportionality by helping to:
- Reduce unemployment amongst BAME youth
- Increase educational attainment for BAME young people
- Reduce the number of BAME young people going into the criminal justice system
The twitch stream will begin on Thursday 11th June at 11am and will continue for 30 hours non-stop until Friday 12th June at 5pm. The stream will mainly consist of FIFA 20 and Call of Duty gameplay. If you have some time to spare add us on PSN and we'll play together!
